New Year's Resolutions Made Fun
New Year's Resolutions Made Fun
Introduction
People annually proclaim new ways of living on January 1st. It is notorious that people do not stick with them, as there are many memes which were spread around the internet.
In order to stick with them I have some options which I will discuss below.
Journaling
A great example of how one can set up a helpful journal to plan out their life is with 'The Artist of Life Workbook' by Lavendaire. Within it the readers will find various prompts to assist them on clarifying their next steps.
Vision Board
As discussed in 'The Secret', a movie, multiple successful people put pictures of their future goals on a board and look at it every day. This helps one visualize their dream life, and remind them of their main goal. Keep in mind, the dream doesn't work unless you do.
Current Me vs. Future Me
This activity can also be found within the Lavendaire workbook. The goal is to draw your current self and habits. Then, on another sheet of paper draw your future self and all the things you would like to be, from looks, attire, mood, lifestyle, friends, etc.
Staying on Track
This is the most important step out of all, if I do say so myself. Now that you have all of your goals and visions down, it is time to implement them into real life. To do so, get yourself a calendar and start to plan out every day what you will do. Get into the habit of using time management and really stick to your goals.
Best of luck,
Jessica
